Heise Axxess Add-On Multiple Can Activated Cameras

The AXAC-GM2 camera switching interface from Axxess Integrate by Metra enables you to add a backup camera or multiple CAN-activated cameras to your factory radio screen. Designed for select 2014-2018 GM vehicles with 7 inch factory displays, this plug-and-play solution supports a single camera input or up to four cameras for enhanced visibility around your vehicle. The package includes the interface and a vehicle-specific harness for seamless factory-style integration. Camera views activate automatically through CAN Bus communication during reverse or turn signal operation, or can be manually selected when paired with an aftermarket radio. The Rear Video Assistant (RVA) feature allows a camera to remain active throughout your trip, ideal for monitoring a trailer hitch, passengers in the back seat, or rear cargo. A programmable 12-volt 5-amp switched output and four configurable camera control wires provide flexible setup through the Axxess Updater Program. The interface includes integrated VSS vehicle speed sense input and output, while the Micro B USB port enables simple firmware updates.
